Here is part of what Casey's new "mom" had to say about her the day she arrived: I just wanted to let you know that Casey arrived safe and sound is doing wonderfully! I instantly fell in love with her. She came out of her crate at the airport and put her head in my lap and started licking me. She did great in the car on the 45 minute ride home and just lay quietly in the backseat. We've spent the whole evening together - I've taken her out for lots of short walks around town, gone out to coffee with her, and groomed her. She is a little nervous, but she is the sweetest, most gentle dog! I went out to run some errands, and when I got back, she wagged her tail for me! She seems content to curl up next to me while I work or read and loves to sit at my feet when we go outside to play. I can't believe how easygoing, calm, and sweet she is, especially after such a long trip! She seems really happy, and trots alongside me so nicely when we walk. She is just the easiest dog, and has warmed up so quickly! I feel so very lucky to have gotten Casey! And just walking around town, Casey has gotten so many compliments and pats today! I've attached some pictures. Casey seems to have made herself right at home :) Thanks again to everyone who facilitated Casey coming home!!
