Last Chance Arkansas 2000K Rescue Run

Casts Light on Stray Dog Problem in Arkansas

Carrie Kessler and Lisa Mantle of Last Chance Arkansas recently delivered ten dogs to Rondout Valley Animals For Adoption in Accord, New York for adoption. The 2000K Rescue Run was the first time they had personally delivered dogs. Last Chance Arkansas is a non-profit 501C3 organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from the Little Rock Animal Village (shelter). At risk dogs are placed in foster homes until they are healthy and available for adoption. Rondout Valley Animals For Adoption is a privately owned open admission shelter. Adoption Event a Huge Successuhaul

Seventy-nine animals found new forever homes on Saturday, September 22, at the Little Rock Animal Services' adoption event. The central Arkansas community showed a great amount of support for the animals in need, with many donating money and needed supplies to the shelter.
In addition to their support throughout the week bathing and grooming the dogs, PetsMart will donate $10 for each adoption Saturday, Sep. 22.

This event was a great opportunity for the community to see the new, state-of-the-art facilty, and learn more about the great animals available every day of the year.

Without the help of our volunteers, none of this would have been possible.

LRAS rescues animals from U-Haul
