Urgent Needs
Rocky
Rocky is large black male, possibly a mix of labrador and border collie.
He is a big, cuddly fellow, currently in foster care in Little Rock, AR.
Rocky was rescued from Little Rock Animal Services, and when he went for
his final check-up it was discovered he was heartworm positive, and must
undergo treatment before he can leave for Boston, MA, where our Rescue
Partner, Boston Dog Rescue, is ready to find him a home.
Buster
Buster is a medium size boy with a gorgeous black and brown long coat.
We aren't sure what kind of mix he is, but we do know that Buster loves to
play ball! Buster was surrendered to the shelter by his owners, and it was
discovered that Buster was heartworm positive. He has a long road to
recovery as his heartworm went untreated with his former family.
Buster is currently being fostered in Little Rock, AR.
Sophia
Sophia has been rescued by a new rescue partner in the Chicago area. This beautiful
female has heartworm, so we need your help. Plase
help up pay for her heartworm treatment so she can get to her forever home. Sophia
is available for adoption, so if you would like to learn more about her, contact

Important Information
Please note that a small portion of your donation (about 3%) through PayPal is
deducted as their fee. Last Chance Arkansas has no control over that. The PayPal
option is offered as a convenience but if you want to ensure that 100% of your
donation goes to help the animals, you may make your donation by check.
If you would like to designate your donation for the care of a specific
special needs dog, please use the button under that dog's picture and biography.
However, please be aware that it is impossible for us to know in advance how much
money will be donated for a particular dog and in some cases it is impossible to
know how much will be needed for that dog's medical care.
Therefore, if more money is donated for a particular dog than we end up needing for him or her, the
excess will be used for other special needs dogs. You can be assured that 100%
of your donation will be used to care for sick or injured dogs, but we cannot absolutely
guarantee that all funds donated will be needed for that
specific dog.
